Therefore, in this situation, you must choose Export for Screens rather than simply saving the file. In the steps that follow, I’ll demonstrate how.

Step 1:

Select File > Export > Export for Screens from the overhead menu.

The Export for Screens settings window will be shown.

 

Step 2:

Decide which artboards to export or preserve. By default, all artboards are checked, but you may uncheck the ones you don’t want to keep. For instance, I deselected Artboard 2.

 

Step 3:

Select the destination folder for the file, switch to PDF format, select Export PDFs as Multiple Files, and then click Export Artboard.

The artboards you choose should now be saved as individual PDF files.

Two Techniques for Saving Artboards as Separate JPEG or PNG Files

Even if your designs are arranged on many artboards, Adobe Illustrator allows you to export your artboards as JPEG or PNG files. In Adobe Illustrator, you have two options for exporting artboards as individual picture files: Export As or Export for Screens.( Save Artboards As Separate Files)

Procedure 1: Export As

step 1:

Go to the overhead menu in step 1 Export As under File > Export.

step 2:

Select the Use Artboards option and change the Format to PNG (png) or JPEG (jpg).

Select the desired range or save all artboards by clicking Export.

step 3:

You can alter the PNG or JPEG settings depending on the file type.
Once you click OK, the artboards will appear saved as separate pictures.

Second approach:
